SAP HANA Certification Test include: Business use cases for HANA platform, loading data into HANA database, modeling and creating views on basic tables to obtain meaning of the data, creating reports using various tools such as SAP Business Objects tools on these created views, optimizing the performance for these reports, user management, security, and data access privileges.

Categories in SAP HANA:

Administrator: An administrator is authorized for SAP HANA Database Installation & Configuration, Database Maintenance, Monitoring, Backup & Restore and User Management.

Modeler: A modeler must remember concerning different data provisioning techniques obtainable to bring data from various sources to SAP HANA, building information models (modeling objects) based on business requirements, Performance tuning, Data Security, Different Reporting tools that can combine to SAP HANA and much more.

Application Developer: An application developer will be working on programming languages like JavaScript, JQuery, HTML and other languages to build the web application that runs on SAP HANA Database platform.

You can take your certification by booking slot in sap website. There are certain pre-requisites to take SAP HANA Certification:

• You should have taken SAP HANA instruction from either SAP or their certified vendors.

Or

• You should submit a letter from your company stating you have min 6-month work experience in SAP HANA.

What are the Certifications types available?

• C_HANATEC151: SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP HANA.

Modeler:

• C_HANAIMP151: SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP HANA.

Application Developer:

As of now, there is no certification from SAP for this area. Below is the only course provided by SAP for Application Developers.

• HA450: Application Development for SAP HANA.

SAP BW (Business Warehouse) on HANA:

Apart from the above areas SAP also has certification for people working on SAP Business Warehouse on HANA.

• E_HANABW151: SAP Certified Application Specialist – SAP BW on SAP HANA.
