What are the Certification categories in MuleSoft?

In MuleSoft they are two categories of Certification:

1. MuleSoft Certified Developer:

API Design Associate: This API certificate, about designing the application can go for the MCD – API Design Associate. It aids you in understanding the core concepts of the “RESTful API Modeling Language” (RAML 1.0) and is proficient in designing RESTful APIs with MuleSoft solutions.

The MuleSoft Certified Developer-API Design Associate certification exam is MuleSoft’s first skills test for designing RESTful APIs using RAML and Anypoint Platform and validates your understanding on MuleSoft’s Anypoint Platform entitlements for creating and consuming REST APIs with RAML 1.0.

In API Design Associate, we don’t have any prerequisites courses to learn.

Integration Professional: The MCD – Integration Professional is proficient with real-world MuleSoft development, and can develop complex projects on your own.

If you have taken all the MuleSoft courses and reviews, you will have will have vast project experience, and collected a broad and relatively deep expertise in MuleSoft solutions and tools.

The MuleSoft Certified Partner-Architecture Specialist exam is MuleSoft’s accreditation for creating connections amongst architects and professionals.

Prerequisites:

  • Skilled with current software development tools like Git/GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, or similar.
  • A full knowledge of the fundamental ingredients of enterprise integration including interface definitions and contracts; data encoding using XML or JSON; REST APIs or SOAP web services; SQL or NoSQL database access; message-passing utilizing JMS, AMQP or similar; network protocols like TCP/IP, HTTP, and HTTPS; single-resource transactions.
  • Mastering in any JVM-based programming language with the ability to read procedural, object-oriented, and (ideally) functional code.
